Presenter Information

Larry Veltman, MD, FACOG
Dr. Larry Veltman practiced obstetrics and gynecology in Portland, Oregon until January, 2007. While he was in practice, he was Chairman of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology for ten years at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center in Portland. Dr. Veltman is past chair of the Committee on Professional Liability for the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) and currently serves on ACOG’s Patient Safety and Quality Improvement Committee. He is currently a consultant with respect to a variety of subjects dealing with medical malpractice, patient safety, and risk management.
