Perinatal Performance Information Project (Contract W81XWH-08-F-1070)
This project provides the Military Health System (MHS)/Department of Defense, Office of Chief Medical Officer at the TRICARE Management Activity and all Military Treatment Facilities (MTFs) providing perinatal care with quarterly benchmarking reports and a series of specialty reports designed to monitor performance and demonstrate/improve quality of care within the MHS. This project was initiated in 2002 and is designed to support the objectives of the MHS/DoD OB Challenge Project. The key data sets used for this Project are the Standard Inpatient Data Record (SIDR), the Standard Ambulatory Data Record (SADR), and the Health Care Service Record (HCSR). All data extracted from these data sets are covered by a Data Use Agreement executed by NPIC/QAS and the TMA Privacy Office.
