Janet H. Muri, MBA
Janet H. Muri assumed the role of President of NPIC on October 1, 2007. She joined the organization in 1988, serving initially as a consultant, then Data Coordinator, Director of Information Services, and Vice President prior to her current position. Ms. Muri is responsible for the overall operational and strategic management of the organization. She also oversees all collection, processing and analysis of clinical and financial data submitted by NPIC member hospitals and other state, federal and private data sources related to contract work conducted by NPIC.
Ms. Muri is the principal on many of the NPIC contracts including the Department of Defense Perinatal Performance Information Project, the Premier Perinatal Patient Safety Initiative, the Harvard Risk Management Strategies Foundation Team Training contract, the Georgia Regional Perinatal Care Network project, the American Board of Pediatrics Maintenance of Certification Part 4 and The Joint Commission Core Measure Services activities. Ms. Muri represents NPIC on the AHA Maternal and Child Health Governing Council of which NPIC has a permanent guest seat, is a member of the Technical Advisory Panel for the Joint Commission Perinatal Care Core Measure set and the ACOG OB Data Definitions conference Delivery workgroup. Ms. Muri received a Master in Business Administration with a concentration in Health Care Management from Boston University in 1986.
Sandra A. Boyle, BS
Director of Data Services
Sandra A. Boyle has over 18 years experience in health care data management and analysis. She joined NPIC in 1996 as a Data Coordinator and Hospital Liaison. As Director of Membership Services, Ms. Boyle is responsible for managing the recruitment, enrollment and reporting for all member and non-member hospitals. She has played an integral part in the design and development of NPIC performance measurement reporting and is the principal contact with The Joint Commission regarding the Core Measure services NPIC offers. Ms. Boyle has a Bachelor of Science in Health Services Administration from Providence College.
Wendy E. Guida, BS
Director of Operations
Wendy E. Guida, Director of Operations, is responsible for the financial and operational functions of NPIC. Ms. Guida has extensive experience in all areas of financial management, with expertise in nonprofit accounting and government compliance. Since joining NPIC in 1991, Ms. Guida has served as grant accountant, business manager and international services program coordinator. As Program Coordinator, Ms. Guida managed several USAID funded international healthcare partnerships in Slovakia, Albania, Armenia and Russia. Ms. Guida has presented internationally on topics related to financial management, budget development, community mobilization, and served on the American International Health Alliance Partner Task Force to reengineer partnership financial reporting.
